I want to do some pre-server-validation of a form in a Backbone.js model. To do this I need to get the user input from a form into usable data. I found three methods to do this: var input = $('#i. Simple Form Builder With JSON Schema - jQuery JSONForm. JSON To Form And Form To JSON Converter - jQuery jform. Build HTML Form From JSON Schema - jQuery JSON Form. Populate Form Fields With JSON Data - json-form-binding.js. JSON Schema To HTML Form Creator With jQuery - Medea. Get And Set Form Values Using JSON Object - jQuery input-values.js.
In this case, jQuery serializes the successful controls within the form. Only form elements are examined for inputs they contain, in all other cases the input elements to be serialized should be part of the set passed to the.serialize method. Selecting both the form and its children in a set will cause duplicates in the serialized string. The.serializeArray method creates a JavaScript array of objects, ready to be encoded as a JSON string. It operates on a jQuery collection of form s and/or form controls. The controls can be of several types: 1.

Use BlazemongerBlazemonger

I am using to a jQuery post method to send some data to a server. Rather than constructing the JSON string myself, I would like to simply use a Javascript object. When I get the return string (in JSON) I would like to automatically construct a corresponding javascript object. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance. Cadence spectre manual.
